Meet Our Design Innovators
TRISTAN RAY & MELANIE ALBERT
Bloomwell is the collaborative vision of two professionals commited to reimagining outdoor spaces for a changing world. With backgrounds in ecological restoration, landscape architecture, and sustainable design, we bring together technical expertise and refined aesthetic sensibility.
Tristan Ray is a seasoned wildlife biologist with over five years of professional experience. His previous work at Tree of Life Nursery is where he cultivated a profound knowledge of California native plant ecology. This deep understanding informs our ecologically grounded designs. He obtained his
B.S. in Wildlife Biology & Conservation Management from
Cal Poly Humboldt.
Melanie Albert earned her B.S. in Urban Ecology & Biodiversity from the Univeristy of California, Davis and minor in Sustainability in the Built Environment. With a focus on sustainable design and systems thinking, she bridges ecology and the built environment through thoughtful, place-based design.
Every project is a dialogue between design and ecology, rooted in a sense of place and purpose.
